| Executive Summary |
The ICTIP team has spent a busy few months helping clients in setting up their websites, improving ranks on Google and in recommending Social Media Strategies to fire the growth of these businesses online.
One of the notable successes that we have had is the restructuring of the website for Find My Super, Australia’s leading service for recovering lost or inactive super. For the complete story, please read the case study in this newsletter.
ICTIP has well and truly established itself as a player in the Social Media space and has conducted Workshops with Local Government Offices in Sydney. At the international level ICTIP has conducted Social Media Workshops for the i-Gaming industry in Budapest. Both these have been very well received. A paper on Social Media for the tourism industry was also presented at the Armidale Conference held recently.
Social Media Strategy and Implementation plans have been developed for two clients in the Recruitment and Business Coaching industries. We hope to share their experiences in the forthcoming issues.
Following the success of his two e-books on Twitter and Social Media, Logan Nathan, founder of ICTIP will soon launch his first book titled, “Social Media Secrets for your Business”. This will help even more business owners take advantage of the concepts and strategies presented, so they too can take benefit from this amazingly affordable Marketing Tool.
In the months ahead ICTIP plans to make further inroads into Social Media Marketing through workshops and training programs suited for beginners but also others who want to take their understanding of Social Media to the next level.

| Findmysuper.com – Restructured as a Social Media enabled and Google compliant Website |
Find My Super operates in the Financial Services niche and offers a unique service to individuals who may have changed several jobs and have lost track of their superannuation. The software embedded in the website locates lost superannuation by creating a match between the individual’s Tax File Number and lost superannuation accounts.
For a small fee, individuals can also search for all superannuation accounts, both current and over 5 years old, which can then be consolidated for easy maintenance.
While restructuring the website, ICTIP was faced with two challenges – to create a website that would result in a high Google ranking and one that was Social Media friendly.
To draw the reader to the content, large scrolling banners were used with powerful slogans that immediately attract the attention of the reader. The design of the website is clean and has a corporate look and feel, yet appears user-friendly. The content is keyword rich and jargon free. To establish immediate credibility, the home page has video testimonials from satisfied customers. A counter at the top of the page records the number of individuals who have registered with the company. This helps in reassuring customers that the business can be relied on to deliver on its promise.
The call to action button on the top of the home page encourages the website visitors to take immediate action so they can find their superannuation.
The website has a Google Page Rank of 5, which is an excellent score for a site that has only recently been overhauled.
With links to the company’s Social Media accounts such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Flickr, visitors can immediately join in with the Company’s Social Media conversations. These Social Media sites also contribute to generating backlinks that improve the Search Engine Rankings of Find My Super .

| TweetMyEvents – The Next Phase |
The beta-test for the Twitter based platform that enables businesses promote their events through Twitter, TweetMyEvents has enjoyed immense success, with over 500 events being listed at any given time.
Following the successful launch, the next phase involves a monetization strategy targeting the corporate market who uses Social Media as part of their marketing mix. Value-added services will be provided to corporations who sign up as members so they can utilise the tool with a higher level of efficiency.
The following is the additional value that will be provided to users in this phase:
• Events can be posted to the users Social Media Profile including Facebook, LinkedIn, and other Social Media platforms.
• Event venue wil be displayed through Google maps

• Automated retweets will be sent to relevant sub-sites to make the event go viral.

to all the Australian Twitter contacts of the originator
