| Executive Summary |
In the past two months since the last newsletter was released the team at ICTIP have been working furiously to launch two new products. The first is an eBook titled Social Media for your Business Startup Guide valued at $27, and available as a gift to our readers and customers. The second product is the Social Media Secrets for your Business, Which is an eBook written by Logan Nathan, Founder and Director of ICTIP – Sydney’s Internet Marketing Solutions Company. While the Startup Guide provides business owners an Overview on Social Media and how to use it as a tool in their business, Social Media Secrets for your Business provides in-depth strategies and tactics that can be used for growing a business using Social Media. A detailed report has been provided in this newsletter.
To help businesses with their Social Media Marketing Initiatives, ICTIP has begun to create customised Facebook pages. After months of planning and preparation, a new ecommerce website was launched in June 2010 for a Sydney based customer Aussiekidsathome. Aussiekidsathome is an online resource centre that helps to connect parents and babysitters or nannies in their local area. | Social Media for Business Training Programs – Hands on Experience to Get You Started. |
While many large businesses have successfully used Social Media Marketing as a new tool to promote their businesses online, smaller businesses have been slow on the uptake. One of the reasons has been the lack of a comprehensive hands-on training program that takes businesses by the hand to show them exactly what is required to plan and execute a successful Social Media Marketing campaign.
To clear the confusion and answer the call from small & medium sized businesses, ICTIP, has after careful preparation launched the Social Media For Business Training Workshop. The interactive training covers everything that’s needed for business owners and entrepreneurs to get started with their Social Media marketing as soon as they leave the workshop.

| Aussiekidsathome – An Ecommerce Website in the Childcare Market |
After months of strategic planning and development & testing that involved an in depth study of the market, competition and customer needs, Aussiekidsathome was launched in June 2010.
Aussiekidsathome is a web-based service provider that connects parents to babysitters and nannies that eliminates the need for an agency that commonly serves as a middleman. While parents can easily find a carer in their suburb using this internet portal, carers are able to reach out to parents directly and save on the fees they would otherwise have to pay to an agency.
While designing the website, ICTIP took great care to create a strong brand identity through the use of graphics, fonts and colours that reflected the nature of the service being provided.
Parents have the ability to conduct a free search for babysitters in their local area on the home page. Likewise carers can search for jobs in the area of their choice.
By securely logging into the website, registered parents can contact babysitters or nannies directly and select a carer that meets their needs. Carers on the other hand can log in regularly and respond to parents looking for a babysitter or nanny, directly.
To provide additional value to users, the website provides links to additional services for the convenience of members. For instance the website is an excellent resource for finding children’s party venues, opportunities to buy and sell pre-loved children’s items and lists stores that sell items concerning children.
The website is Social Media integrated with visitors having easy access to the aussiekidsathome Facebook page and can also follow them on Twitter through links on the Home Page.
Aussiekidsathome demonstrates ICTIP’s ability to transform a business concept into a revenue generating ecommerce website with added Social Media functionality designed to extend the reach of the business without the need for mainstream advertising.
