A real-time event sharing platform for the social web, TweetMyEvents is a free service that allows users to broadcast their events to the world through Twitter, the popular micro-blogging platform.

The service is aimed primarily at event organisers and internet marketers looking to promote their events and also business organisations seeking to inform prospects, customers, suppliers and staff about upcoming events. By using this service, event organisers and businesses will be able to reach a larger target audience in real time and save hours that they would otherwise have spent sending out email invitations to their prospects, customers, suppliers or staff.unfortunately if you lost a customer it means, lost feedback and the opportunity to improve. If lost customer opens us up to potentially negative word-of-mouth that might affect our reputation with prospects, customers, suppliers and staff.

Natural Balance is a wellness centre located at Norwest Business Park that focuses on providing clients with a complete solution for a well balanced life. It is not only for your typical fitness centre but also for Natural Balance offers massage ,stretch and pilates. David Collins, founder of Natural Balance approached ICTIP to find out how the website could be made more effective to help in generating more leads and positioning Natural Balance as the “go to” place for people who want to improve their current level of wellness in a friendly environment without feeling pressured.

The Natural Balance website at this stage was a static website and like most business websites was feature rich. The focus was on the services provided and the expertise of the centre staff in being able to provide these services. There was also no social media integration in the website.

While redesigning the website, the content was rewritten shifting the focus from features to the benefits that members would enjoy as a result of regularly utilising the services of Natural Balance. For search engine optimisation purposes, high frequency search terms were strategically interspersed in the content. A detailed Q & A section was introduced to answer common questions and overcome possible objections of readers about the facilities and how they could benefit by using them.

The redesign also involved integration of social media as part of the website. This is a concept that ICTIP has taken to a new level beginning with its own site. Every page of the website has a social media component. Visitors can read the latest Tweets posted on the Natural Balance Twitter page and also link back to the Facebook page share in the conversations being held on the Natural Balance page. Visitors to the website can also view people who “Like” the Natural Balance Facebook page. As the number of such fans increase, it establishes Natural Balance’s reputation as a quality service provider in the wellness industry.

With Natural Balance participating actively on social media platforms, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) benefits also result through the backlinks generated from Tweets, re-tweets, posts on the Facebook page and posts on blogs of members and visitors.

The new-look website is strong on branding, focuses on the benefits that Natural Balance provides its members and is designed to generate leads without having to spend huge amounts on traditional advertising methods.
