ICT Internet Presence (ICTIP) Sri Lanka is looking for Internet and Social Media Marketing Assistants; to manage the company’s social media initiatives – both internal and external. We are looking for people who are capable of handling multiple projects with ease and manage the client’s expectations.

Job Duties

Update and Maintain Facebook Fan Page

Update and Maintain LinkedIn Profiles

Recommend and build an online presence on additional social media sites

Maintain Twitter Accounts – with regular tweeting, re-tweeting etc.,

Publish previously written articles

ontribute to overall online community building efforts

Work with a multitude of clients from various industries both local and foreign

Understanding the social media universe beyond Twitter and Facebook

Skills

A relevant degree (completed or if you are completing your final year exams in 2011)

Ability to communicate in English is a must

Ability to work under tight deadlines on multiple projects

Previous work experience is advantageous

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiar with commonly used concepts, practices, procedures within the Internet/new media industry
• Skilled in social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter, etc., is a plus
• Solid understanding of web analytics is an advantage
• Knowledge of web usability, look & feel and basic technology practices and processes
• Minimum 3 years experience industry experience
